This sounds like a fun way to spend some time on a Friday, so I'm in! And on with the shower games...
- Game #1 is to tell how long the labor and delivery of your first baby took. The quickest labor and delivery will win. Well, I probably have no shot at this one since my first labor and delivery took a full 13 hours - but I have the feeling that's by no means the longest either!
- Game #2 is to share a 'belly bump' photo. I shared some of these in a previous post, but here's another glimpse of my belly from the night before Becca was born:
- Game #3 is to share a photo of our baby's nursery. Well, the only one of my children who really had a 'nursery' to speak of was Abby, since we had the money (and time) to spend on it back then. The theme was Winnie-the-Pooh since it was gender non-specific and we didn't quite trust the ultrasound technician all the way when she told us we were having a girl (she said something like 90% sure, but there was just that little 10% of doubt!). Considering that we lived in a townhouse that we rented and therefore couldn't paint or do anything permanent to, I think the nursery turned out pretty cute!
- Game #4 is that the person who had the biggest baby will win. Well, Abby was a big baby, but not the biggest I've ever heard of, so we'll see! She was a whopping 9 pounds 2 ounces, well more than either of her younger sisters. Thus the 13-hour labor mentioned above. :)
You're posting from work? I love it! Thanks for your entry and I will be back to see the nursery photo. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a big baby bump! I was huge for my last baby, but there is no way I'm putting my belly on here. It looked pretty huge. LOL I'm tagging you with a meme :o)
ReplyDeleteA cyber baby shower - what a cool idea. I just checked it out today, but I'll have to go back and see who wins.
ReplyDelete13 hours? That sounds like a long time to me. I had Beth in 3 hours and 45 minutes, and Cory in an hour and a half. When my kids were ready to be born, they were ready!
You're a brave woman! I would never be brave enough to post mine : ) Great job on the nursery - I just love Winne The Pooh!
ReplyDeleteHow neat!!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
ReplyDelete(Btw, my last bump looked just like that! He was 8lb10.5oz!)
nice belly!
