So apparently Tuesday is the popular night to schedule things. At least things that I need to go to... :)
You can read all about what my Tuesdays currently involve right now at last week's post, and here's this week's spin:
6:30 to 7:30am -
7:30am to 8:00am -
Thankfully Ron managed to get today off so he took Becca to daycare.
9:00am to 4:00pm -
4:00pm to 4:30pm - Head to the girls' school to meet with Abby's teacher and explain our concerns about Abby to her. Talk to her about having the psychologist we're starting to work with come in and observe Abby at school for an hour in the next couple of weeks.
4:30pm to 5:30pm - Here's where it would normally get fun, but thankfully Ron is home today which will make things much easier. He'll pick up the girls and start getting them dinner at home. So I'll just head home, finish getting everyone fed and ready and we'll drive separately to soccer, get everyone unloaded and unpacked and down to the field by 5:30pm.
5:30pm to 6:30pm - Abby's soccer practice. Keep Becca from attempting to drink all water bottles and dumping them over herself in the process (as she did last week) and keep her off of the field while reminding her that as good as she can kick a soccer ball and as cute as she is, she is not on Abby's team.
Normally, we'd be done with scheduled activities at this point and could head home for bedtime since church choir (sigh) doesn't start until the end of the month.
However, our school has decided to schedule the Parents' Night for Young 5's and kindergarten students - yep, you guessed it. Tonight. From 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Right smack dab in the middle of Abby's soccer practice.
This is why it was so important for Ron to get today off - so he can stay with the girls at soccer and then take them home, while I go to Parents' Night. Thankfully his boss was understanding and he was able to get it off - especially since I hadn't worked on getting anyone else lined up to help. I didn't ask around earlier because Ron had been assuring me that it wouldn't be a problem. After working all weekend he needs a day off anyway.
So that's my 'tackle' for today. I also want to keep working on getting all of the fall/winter clothes put into the girls' dresser drawers so I can get them out of all of our laundry baskets. So I can put laundry into the laundry baskets instead of juggling loads of laundry from one basket to another. Poor Ron never knows which basket is full of whose clothes, whether they're dirty or clean or what to put on the kids right now. But since the weather's been cooling down a bit, I can start pulling some of the summer clothes out of the drawers and closets to make some more room. Winter clothes are so much bulkier though - what a pain! I got some of Becca's done yesterday, but there's a lot more to do yet.

Sounds like you have your hand full
I am a mom of three girls with an Abbye and a Hannah, too! =)
Well you sure have a lot going on. I say getting through your day is a tackle in and of itself. Especially after the morning you had.
:)
My Tackle It Tuesday is up ... come see!
