Stop over at MamaBlogga and start working on your medals! I already am... :)
Time to get out of my blogging comfort zone, LOL. So far I've completed most of the events for a bronze medal so am working toward a silver - and who knows, I may even go for the gold!
Things I've accomplished so far:
- Added 4 new blogs to my blogroll (...And Miles To Go Before We Sleep, An Island Life, Summer's Nook and Are We There Yet - yes, they are all wonderful so check them out!).
- Commented on several new blogs (that I've never commented on before) - I lost track, but I know it's been at least 5 or 6 so far (and counting!). I love checking out new blogs. :)
- Submitted posts to social networking sites twice so far - I've got to remember to do this more...
- I've subscribed to one new blog so far and am always on the lookout for others to add to my growing list of subscriptions.
- I don't have old draft posts that I'm not going to use, since I tend to publish as I write most of the time. Is that odd? And does that count toward the medal requirement, I wonder...
- I participated in the Carnival of Family Life again this week - check it out over at Colloquium!
- My post submission for the Group Writing Project over at Summer's Nook will be up sometime today or tomorrow!
Ok, ok so if I would actually READ things through I would've seen that you only have to complete one event in each category to win that medal. Thanks to Summer for pointing that out below... You know what though? I'm having a lot of fun with this so I'm going to keep at it anyway and see how much I can do. Go for the gold, baby! :)

Ooh. This is a great idea. I have to check this out. Thank you for the link.
Did you know you only have to complete one event from each medal level to earn gold? I thought we had to do every event within each medal category at first too.
Really?? Well that's good to know! :)
Thanks for pointing that out, Summer! Looks like you're doing a great job, Deb--you can certainly use the progress you've made on other goals to work toward silver and gold events, too!
Thank you for adding me to your blogroll. I am honored.
I better get working on my medals!
